Positive: The Adria is exactly the kind of hotel you want to come back to after a long day on the go. It's in a quiet South Kensington neighborhood; the metro is conveniently nearby; my front facing room had great natural light, and the windows opened just a skitch so I had fresh air; the bed, bedding, and pillows were terrific; I didn't use the tub, but the shower was terrific. Most important is a shout out to the hotel's management and staff: the employees must be happy in their work, each one, throughout my stay, was friendly, welcoming and helpful; I left personal items behind when I checked out, and not only did the hotel let me know that they had them, they sent the items to me on their tab.
Negative: The Adria offers an ample, pleasing breakfast, but there isn't food service at night. You have to order in. There isn't a bar per se, and while the staff will mix and serve drinks to order, it's not the same as a night cap in a more social environment.
Summary: Can't ask for a better place to stay.
