Tallbacka by Interhome: A Charming Retreat in Raseborg

Discover the enchanting Tallbacka by Interhome, nestled 140 km west of Helsinki in the serene region of Uusimaa. Guests can enjoy shared access to a pier along with another cottage (15311 Tallbacka 2), while villagers also have limited access to this charming spot.

This log house, originally constructed in 1929 and fully renovated in 2016, features a modern kitchen, a cozy dining room, and a spacious living area. The property includes a washing room equipped with a toilet and shower, as well as a glazed terrace perfect for enjoying the surrounding nature.

On the upper level, you will find a lounge area and two bedrooms: one with three beds and the other accommodating four beds, which can be rearranged based on your needs. Additionally, there is a separate wooden building that spans 30 square meters, featuring electric heating, two single beds, and an extra bed for two guests.

Enhance your stay by relaxing in the private yard sauna, complete with a fireplace room that has a sofabed suitable for two. In wintertime, two additional guests can use folding beds located in the main house. The sauna features a washing room with a hot water cauldron (no shower) and a steam room heated by a wood stove, with the sandy beach just 300 meters away. The house is approximately 50 meters from the sauna, while the distance from the house to the beach is about 350 meters.

The expansive yard comes equipped with a campfire area and a ball BBQ grill, along with a gas grill available during summer. For those bringing their own boats, you can easily drive to the shore for launching or retrieving, and an official boat ramp can be found around 9 km from the cottage for larger vessels.

Water is supplied to both the main house and the sauna; however, it must be noted that the area's water may contain manganese and iron, which can impart a slight smell or taste. Rest assured, the water is safe for use, though you are welcome to bring your own drinking water if preferred. Other cottages are nearby, with the closest being just 50 meters away.

Local attractions include the beautiful Padva sand beaches only 10 km away and the picturesque village of Bromarv, known for its summer market, shops, and restaurants, located just 9 km from your location. Explore further to discover Tammisaari (50 km), Hanko (80 km), Karjaa (50 km), Fiskars (50 km), and Salo (80 km).

Your booking includes essential amenities such as ERV cancellation insurance, final cleaning, and an initial supply of laundry including bed linen and towels. Please note that basic cleaning remains the responsibility of the guest.
