Summary: Having read some reviews I expected this to be more run down than it was. It was actually very good for the money. Linen was provided free of charge, as were cleaning items for the flat and enough plates, cutlery and kitchen items, which some reviews had said were either extra or not available, but I believe towels were extra (we bought our own). Staff were helpful, place was very well located next to the lift and a 5 minute walk to the supermarket. There is underground parking, but it’s height restricted; we had a 4x4 with a top box, so no good. But there was free parking outside in a car park 10 minutes walk away. The one downside was the spa; the jacuzzi was not very warm, the Turkish hamman very noisy and the sauna broken, which judging by previous reviews hasn’t been fixed for over a year! So don’t go for the spa, but everything else was pretty good. If you are on a budget holiday it’s great and Serre Chevalier is one of my new favourite places!
