Please note that your stay at our yurt may present a more rustic experience. We do not supply bedding or running water; however, we provide two 5-gallon jugs of fresh water and a clean porta-potty for your convenience.
Your mountain getaway will serve as an excellent basecamp for various thrilling outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, hot springs, skiing, snowshoeing, rafting, kayaking, fishing, and UTV/ATV riding on nearby USFS & BLM trails—many just outside your door!
The yurt accommodates up to five guests comfortably: two on the bottom bunk, one on the top bunk, and two on a futon with soft 3-inch river mats included. Make sure to bring your own bedding suitable for the season—0-degree sleeping bags for winter and lighter options for summer along with your favorite pillows! A sink is available for washing dishes, but remember that a shower is not provided.
You will find heating and cooling through a mini-split system, though you will need to procure firewood for the wood stove and firepit from local stores in Crouch or Garden Valley. Matches are provided for your convenience. While there are lights inside the yurt, be sure to pack headlamps and flashlights for navigating the outdoors after dark.
The kitchen area includes a two-burner propane stove with a cast iron griddle, perfect for warming water or cooking up delicious meals. The outdoor propane grill on the deck enhances your cooking options. The kitchen is stocked with necessary dishes and utensils, along with a spice rack and olive oil to make meal preparation easy.

Chains are also advisable. During spring, summer, and fall, road conditions improve significantly.
While you can park close to the yurt, packing in your gear from the designated visitor parking area is necessary. In summer, ATVs/UTVs provide convenient access, while snowmobiles can be utilized in the winter.
As a friendly reminder, please bring beverages in non-glass containers, such as cans or reusable plastic bottles. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome per reservation for an additional fee, but please adhere to our dog rules: do not leave your dog(s) unattended in the yurt, take them with you when you leave the property, and pick up after them. Doggy bags can be provided upon request.
For the safety of both wildlife and your pets, please supervise them closely and avoid letting them wander too far into the woods. Be aware that the area is home to various wildlife, including deer, elk, and bear, among others.
