3 Bedroom Cabin in Draper

Claytor Lake Escape is just that - an escape to the lake. Tucked into the hillside private this lakeside retreat boasts gorgeous views of Claytor Lake with a short walk to the flat grassy waterfront area for fishing, swimming or putting in your kayak/canoe. Step outside the house and grill while you enjoy the sunset and a camp fire right outside your door. Rent a bike only 5 minutes up the road to hop onto the scenic and flat New River Trail or have a glass of wine at Spinning Jenny Vineyard only 7 minutes away.

Claytor Lake Escape is NOT pet friendly.
Due to the nature of it's well, this home can only occupy 5 guests at a time.
Lake access is shared with two other homes and is a short walk to the lake. Firepit by the lake is NOT for guest use. Please refer to arial map for where you can access water. This water access is recommended for fishing, swimming, and putting in a kayak/canoe. There is not a location to tie up motorized boats. There are folding camp chairs at the house for you to bring down to the lake access area.

Summary: We loved the property and location. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The unit was also well equipped. The only thing that was not clear was our ability to put kayaks directly via property…..perhaps in the summer, but not for older folks to get kayaks back up hills, Also would not recommend for people with movement/walking as the BR’s & showers are upstairs. Other amenities hairdryers, fans, etc. were also on-site. Definitely would stay again. Thank you.
