Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We were looking at properties in the area so we just needed a quiet, cheap bed for the night. Our adult son and ourselves were travelling together. The suite was nice to spread out. We got there after dark, but in the morning I went for a walk and this old motel is ON the beach (or as close as you can get) looking south over Skaha Lake. Very cool location.

Negative: It was pretty cold at night (April) and the blankets were skimpy. We were all a little cold despite turning up the thermostat. Maybe we did something wrong. An extra blanket would have been nice. Everything worked although there were few electrical outlets to plug my laptop into in the morning while working at the table. I had a great shower, but my wife said hers didn't heat up - that may have been user error as the hot / cold label was reversed.

Summary: Great for a quick night in Penticton. Summertime would be amazing being on the beach.
