Panacea is located on the ground floor at Battery Hill Condominiums and easily accessed with just a few steps down from the private, paved complex parking lot. The Battery Hill Condominiums are centrally located in the village of Cruz Bay and visitors staying at Panacea will enjoy the convenience of walking to all of the fine dining establishments and duty free shopping venues in town. With in-town convenience, visitors will find that renting a vehicle is certainly an 'option' when staying at Panacea!
The front entrance to Panacea is surrounded by beautiful tropical vegetation which extends throughout the property. Just inside the entrance door is the fully appointed kitchen which is ideal for making snacks to take to the beach, blending up an island drink, or cooking a full meal at home. There is a reverse osmosis water system connected to the water supply in the kitchen which provides pure water to the ice maker in the refrigerator and for drinking and cooking. Past the kitchen area is the cheerfully decorated and air conditioned great room featuring an indoor dining area and living room area with comfortable furnishings, flat screen HDTV with cable programming, a DVD player, and an audio sound system with full streaming capabilities and dual MP3 connections. Free WiFi internet is available throughout the unit. Double doors lead from the great room to your own private patio with lounge chairs and dining table to enjoy dining alfresco. Beach chairs, coolers and beach towels are available to take along on your visits to St. John's world-class beaches. Panacea provides the perfect accommodations to call home for one or two couples or a small family looking for uncrowded facilities that are within walking distance to shopping/dining options and beaches.
Adjacent to the great room are the two, colorfully decorated bedrooms located on either side of a bathroom with tiled walk-in shower. The master bedroom features a queen bed and the second bedroom has twin beds which can be converted to a king bed. Each bedroom is individually air conditioned. On the other side of the great room is an air conditioned alcove with a queen size futon bed and and a second bathroom with walk-in shower.
A stairway in the tiled courtyard leads to the lower level of the complex where you will find the private pool shared only with other guests at Battery Hill Condos. Enjoy sitting or lounging on the pool deck while soaking up the sun and watching the boats moving in and out of Cruz Bay Harbor. There is also a shaded area on the pool deck which includes table and chairs to enjoy a casual lunch beside the pool and loungers for reading or napping in the shade. A communal gas BBQ grill and free guest laundry facilities are conveniently located adjacent to the pool deck.
