Summary: This hotel is wonderfully situated with a terrace view overlooking the surrounding mountains and the Amalfi coast. Our host Mariella was an absolute gem who not only provided us with a fantastic breakfast, but who also recommended and booked us on an excellent boat cruise to Amalfi and Positano, steering us clear of the crowded bus system on the coast. It is fair to say that our stay in the area would not have been nearly as pleasant or enjoyable without her. This being our first time in the area, we did not realize just how difficult it can be to take the bus or to rent a car with the crowds. The hotel can be quite difficult to reach from the Sorrento train station, so if staying here we would strongly recommend disembarking at the Piano di Sorrento train station and hailing a taxi from there. We were very fortunate to have Mariella to help us book a taxi from the hotel and would strongly recommend staying here and booking a boat tour into Amalfi and Positano as we did
