Summary: Our family of five settled into a clean, comfortable lodging in a wonderful rural locale nestled in a beautiful and serene setting for 10 days in Asturias in mid-September 2024. We appreciated being able to visit both a local beach and a kid’s playground within walking distance. Furthermore, we enjoyed barbecues in the backyard and numerous hikes in the neighborhood and hills nearby. However, our otherwise overall endorsement comes with the following heads-up. Within the description of the property amenities available under the heading, Internet, “available in the cottage: Wi-Fi is misleading. At the time I was making the original booking, I should have more thoroughly checked the past reviews. It emerges that going on 7 years back to the very first review of the property, numerous reviewers mentioned even then the unavailability of Wi-Fi as advertised. As of this writing, the header Wi-Fi available is still being listed on the website. To sum up, if you are simply looking for a nice stay free from social media in a roomy lodging with ample amenities and well located to the lovely town of Cudillero and the airport, then this is the spot for you. Otherwise, digital nomads be aware.
