Positive: The property was fairly close to our convention, with easy access through major streets. Pretty close to fast food, gas and other stores. Beds are comfy and the unit was clean, even though there is some weird smell, like humidity
Negative: The property needs some TLC. It is an old two-story building with some serious maintenance issues. To begin with, the A/C unit is too noisy. The handler is located on the ceiling in the hall between the rooms. Every time the unit kicked in, it woke us up. The silverware was just a bunch of utensils for 4 people. We rented the unit for 5, therefore we were short. If you are going to leave the dryer working at night (while you are sleeping) you are up for a rude awakening and I mean it. The dryer has some kind of alarm/beep super loud that goes off when the cycle is over. And it is loud, very loud. The code for the gate will be given to you the day of your arrival via email. Said email doesn't indicate that after the 3 digit code, you have to press ENTER. The 2nd night, I couldn't get in. I had to drive through the exit (don't see the point of closing one gate only). The smell of cigarettes and weed gets into the unit and the entire property needs some cleaning during the day. I know that some tenants are pigs, but the rest of us shouldn't need to walk over cigarette butts and puddles of God knows what. The noises from the unit above are ridiculous. There was a toddler who ran all day long and the floor/ceiling must be made out of paper, because it was impossible even to watch tv. And apparently I am not the only one that had to go thought that as you can see on the pictures I took from the ceiling in all rooms, with pokes from what appear to be a broomstick. Some of them looked really deep, to the point that someone who doesn't know how to plaster attempted to fix them. And finally, don't call the host. He/She won't answer your calls, your texts or anything. Just generic emails with general information.
