IMPORTANT NOTE FOR 1 WEEK STAY OR LONGER:
Toilet paper, garbage bags and basic toiletries will be provided for the guests at the beginning of the stay. It will then be the guest's responsibility to provide for these for the remainder of their stay.

This property is located in El Portal. El Portal is a tiny village full of historic homes from the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. Adjacent to Miami Shores and Miami-proper, El Portal has the diverse population you’d expect to find in the city. Yet, this half-square mile right beyond city limits feels anything but urban. The area is a designated bird sanctuary, making it a haven for El Portal’s more feathery neighbors and the trees they nest in. Don’t be surprised to turn a corner and spot a peacock strolling in the opposite direction. The Little River Mound, located in Sherwood Forest, adds some archaeological importance to El Portal. Though it looks like a simple grassy knoll, the site is a historical Native American burial mound dating to the seventh century. While a few local businesses dot the village, most lie outside its borders. Given El Portal’s central location, however, nothing is ever too far away.
While some errands can be accomplished on foot, we recommend using a car for added convenience.
➤ The property does have both heating and A/C but we don't guarantee that you can reach a comfortable setting if your preferred temperature is outside of the range of about 65 - 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, given the nature of short term rentals, with people being in and out constantly, we can't guarantee 100% uptime as unfortunately some guests will occasionally push the systems beyond their capacity requiring repairs.
➤Unfortunately, we can’t offer a bag drop-off. For those arriving early or having a late flight, you can use the Bagbnb site to find options to drop off your bag for a fee.
➤ I am not responsible for lost packages. If a package arrives at the property while you’re away it will be returned to sender. Please make sure that if you are ordering a package you will physically be there to receive it as I will not be able to track it for you.

1. Please contact us via Airbnb messenger for any questions.
2. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited in the property, including the balcony. ($400 fine for smoke odour removal)
3. Please be cautious of noise, especially after 10pm. Noise complaints are not tolerated and may result in full deposit charges. You may be asked to leave with no refund.
4. No additional guests are allowed in the home past the indicated number on your booking confirmation. This rule is to prevent large gatherings & parties and be fair to guests who do pay the extra fees. Third party bookings are not allowed.
5. The property must be maintained in good condition with no excessive mess. Extra cleaning costs may apply if necessary so we can effectively prepare for next guests.
6. Please note check-out time is by 11am and keys must be placed as instructed. We can often accommodate late check-outs if we know in advance, but last minute changes may result in $25 charge per each additional half hour stayed.
7. All bookings require the ID of the individual booking and the disclosure of the full names of all guests.
8. Lost keys/fob is a $300 fee to reimburse time, parts, labour, and administration involved.
