Explore the Weeki -Wachee and stay at our newly painted , spacious , 2/2 home with a bonus room . When you are not using one of our Crystal Clear- Kayaks you can relax on the Floating Dock , hang at the Tiki-Hut and Fire-Pit or just enjoy the river and abundant wild-life from within the rear Screened Lanai.
All New mattresses throughout and Tv's in every room. Your comfort is our priority. A 15 min kayak down our quiet canal takes you right into the heart of the Weeki- Wachee .
The space
The home is light and bright with a nautical , river- theme . Enjoy a taste of Old- Florida complete with (3) Kayaks and a launch ramp. The canal leading out to the main Weeki-Wachee is natural and peaceful 10 to 15 min paddle. On the canal alone I've seen a wild pig, manatee, lots of turtles, jumping fish and a little alligator. This is a very protected river and canal. Across the street from this home is a large wooded area where neighbors have even reported seeing Black Bears and even a Florida Panther. The home also also has Fishing poles, Tackle, Corn-Hole boards, Board games. Located very conveniently near Lots of Local Dives, Marinas, Local and Chain Restaurants. The Weeki- Wachee park with the live Mermaid Shows is only 6 minutes away ! Not to mention you are only 1.5 hours to Disney and all Orlando attractions and the top beaches the country! Many options for Boat Rentals and Charter-Fishing are just 5 to 10 min away too.
Guest access
Guest has full access to the entire house with the exception of a storage room off of the Master Bedroom. Full access to the Shed/ Oar-House, Kayaks, Dock, Ramp, Lanai, Grill, Tiki -Hut, Fire Pit and games.
Other things to note
About us- We live in Spring Hill about 15 min away. We have 2 school - aged children that we love spending time with on this river. When the opportunity came to purchase this home, we did everything we could to pull it off . There is an ongoing effort being made to limit access to the public to this river. One way to ensure access for our family is to own a home on the river. The good news is now we can ensure access for you and your family too for years to come. This is our first vacation rental . We have tried to think of everything but there is a good chance we have forgotten something and will make mistakes. We ask that you be patient with us while we learn and we appreciate any tips or constructive -criticism you wish to offer us to improve the property, the guest experience or to make us a better host. We will listen and and are dedicated to fulfilling your expectations. * Note: some photos are prior to us recently installing new Plank Flooring .
