Summary: Do not expect a luxury experience. Upon arrival, they silently took me to my room and did not give a map of hotel/town or offer any sort of guidance about what to do or how to get around. The location of the hotel could be challenging because you have to cross the highway with no sidewalk or crosswalk to get to the beach. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I asked for an extra blanket and they wanted to charge me 800 BAHT ($23 USD) per night (!) to use a blanket… this is not a 4 star hotel as advertised. The shower had cobwebs in it so I’m not confident about cleanliness. I slept with white noise sounds to drown out the birds and construction noises (I was on far end of hotel next to construction site). The pool is small but quiet. There were no yoga classes and that whole area was shabby. The room is run down with many cracks in the wall and the TV audio didn’t work. The AC units did work very well (yay) and they provide 2 bottles of water per day. I did not eat at the hotel, they only offer breakfast. There are great food options nearby. For the price, I had a few complaints especially regarding the subpar service and blankets, but I slept well and enjoyed the walkable location.
