Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The room was small but clean and newly renovated. I expected small since it was London.

Negative: I guess I thought it was going to be more of a hotel than an AirBNB. The pub was open when we arrived so the manager showed us to our room. The second night we were there the pub was opened so we were able to tell someone that there was no heat (late September) and they were able to fix that issue (although asking for heat seemed like something that should have been provided). The 3rd and 4th nights we stayed the pub was closed, so if we had had any issues there was no one to contact, and we were not provided a contact number for assistance or any type of emergency. I knew The Coach was often the beaten path, which is why the rates were reasonable, but when the pub was closed, it was a very dark walk to the hotel at the end of the road, which did not feel safe. I had expected the pub to be open at 9:00 pm, and maybe that was my misconception about the accommodations. I would not recommend it based on the lack of service and location.
