Summary: I stayed 4 nights at the Cabins. I’ve stayed at quite a few budget hotels in Central America so I feel like I have a good understanding of the standard. There wasn’t a cleaning service any of the days. In El Salvador you can’t flush, and so toilet paper goes in the trash can. The trash can did not have a lid. The shower floor was somewhat at a tilt so didn’t drain and stayed stagnate over several days. Towels weren’t replaced, which is necessary since lots of sand and sweating. The walls were stained. There wasn’t clear communication during my check in and apparently not someone else’s because I had someone knocking on my door and trying the code to get it at 10 PM one night. As a single solo traveler especially, that can be a little jarring. The pool was dirty, needs repairs. Does not look like it does in photos. No one swam in it or really even got in. :/
