Travel Purpose: business
Positive: It has a water dispenser for hot and cold water. There were plenty of towels for our 2 days stay and small shampoos, conditioners and hand soaps were provided.
Negative: Had to remove a huge cockroach in the bathtub on the first day after we checked in, and saw another big one right next to the nightstand in the morning when we were getting ready to check out. The air condition was pretty loud, that was typical for all old hotels. The bed was too soft and didn't provide much support. The shower handle was hard to figure out to flow from the down spout to the shower head and the shower flow was not strong. The bed was right next to the wall with only one night stand, it was hard for the one sleeping on the wall side to get out to the bathroom without disturbing the other person. Also, there wasn't an outlet we could use on the night stand, we had to plug everything such as our phones farther away on the tv stand. The window in the room is really small, and there were 2 shutters blocking the views outside, so we had to leave the room to enjoy the views. There was a small kitchenett with a small portable electric cooktop but it is really not functional when there wasn't any pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, knives or forks provided. There was coffee maker but you have to buy your own coffee pods to make coffee. In terms of the facilities, it was actually a part of Ramada Inn, just the room was owned by someone else. So if you have any problems, you have to message the owner, not go to the front desk. It also doesn't have any elevator, we had to carry our luggages up one a flight of stairs to the second floor. The hotel is next to the airport, we heard the 1st flight at 6am and every 5 mins or more another one! There was a restaurant bar next door which played loud rock music non stop and stops at 10 pm. The room is very close to this bar and we could hear the loud music even with the door closed. On the 2nd night there were big groups of people occupying the common areas, so nobody else was able to sit outside to enjoy the bay.
Summary: A room in an outdated Ramada Inn with cockroaches & loud noises, would not have booked if I knew
