Travel Purpose: business

Positive: House was spacious enough for large family (although there was only 2 of us). Appeared relatively clean and equipped when we arrived.

Negative: However, once we unpacked and began to settle in we began to notice certain things were moldy, dirty or about to fall apart. The kitchen chairs were very lose and felt like they could fall apart if someone sat on them. We also noticed the floor grout was black - but when we looked at the pantry floor or less used areas, the grout color is originally beige which means that grout has never been cleaned. Appliances were working but very old and discolored. We could not get the electric oven started so we called the number provided. Very polite text response that immediately said “well no one had reported that issue before.” Instead of sending someone out we were asked to find model number and brand. Eventually my wife discovered the cleaner or previous guest may have hit a button on the display pad that “locked” the oven (probably a safety feature). Outside pool area had mold on plastic tables and pool chairs looked worn out. Even the small items like cutting boards, plastic kitchen cooking utensils or plastic plates and cups looked worn out. This house could be very nice but it’s obviously run by a maintenance company that does the minimum to keep it rentable. Oh, and there was no bbq grill which would have been nice.
