* Great for family/friends to be connected as much as desired or separate for quiet and privacy. Three bedroom chalet with its own designated bathroom on three separate levels! Faraway, breathtaking Mountain Views on all sides; house is located at 2,000 elevation. Main levels L-shaped deck has a BBQ grill, picnic table, and rattan deck furniture. The fire pit area has three benches to roast hotdogs and Smores while stargazing! Chalet is conveniently located to nearby hiking, mountain biking, zip lining, whitewater rafting, swimming, canoeing, fishing, vineyard tastings or trying your luck at the local Harrah's Cherokee Valley River casino.

* Please note: Included in the cleaning fee price is damage waiver coverage in place of a traditional damage deposit so you can have a carefree stay.
* Primary renters age must be at least 25.
* Entry code for the Nest smart lock will be your telephone number WITHOUT your area code. Instructions for entry and the security alarm code will be sent to you by the owner a few days before your arrival.
* The internet link is TP-Link 26-AA and the password is 27295045. NOTE-the cabin offers the fastest service available in the area; please be advised that it may NOT be as fast as youre accustomed; be aware this mountain area has spotty internet service as its in a rural area. Relax, youre on vacation!
* DEPARTURE INSTRUCTIONS: 1) Pull off all sheets from all beds used during your stay. Put in a pile on the floor with any used, dirty towels, washcloths, dishrags, etc. These shall be washed by the cleaning crew. 2) Place all dirty dishes, glasses, cups, eating utensils, pots and pans in the dishwasher and start it before your departure. The clean ones will be put up by the cleaning crew. 3) Remove and discard all opened food items, jars, condiments, milk and juice cartons, ice cream, etc. from the refrigerator and freezer. Place all garbage in the trash cans located outside the garage door on the lower level.
* HOT TUB: Dont apply lotion/cocoa butter before getting into the hot tub. This action creates a hazardous slippery condition and leaves a residue in the tub which is hard to remove. The lotion/cocoa butter requires extra attention and time for its removal (draining the tub, cleaning and refilling with water ), resulting in a higher cleaning fee, which will be charged to you. Hot tub towels are located in the wicker baskets downstairs by the exit door going to the hot tub do not use bathroom towels.
* PETS: There shall NOT be any dog(s) on the premises without pre-approval from the property owner; maximum two 20# dogs permitted (absolutely no cats allowed); a NON-REFUNDABLE $200.00 pet deposit must be paid each dog/per stay before your stay begins. Should this house rule be broken and damage occurs as a result, you shall be responsible for the damage(s). Should extra cleaning (such as dog urine odor) be required by the cleaning crew, you shall be assessed this extra fee. If your dog is approved to be on vacation with you, it must be on a leash per state law. Note-the backyard is fenced for your dog.
* SEASONAL FIREPLACE & FIRE PIT USEAGE: The fireplace in the family room has a gas insert and can be used October 1 through March 31 only. You may use charcoal in the fire pit to roast hotdogs and make Smores, or you may buy firewood from stores like Walmart, or grocery and convenience stores.
* BBQ grill-Usage during warm weather only is suggested, I.e. May-September. During these months, one bag Match Light BBQ grill charcoal (lighter fluid is prohibited because of the potential wind/fire hazard) will be supplied Memorial Day through Labor Day. Do NOT leave the BBQ grill or a fire pit unattended. The wind on this mountaintop can be very strong at times, and an unattended fire of any kind could create a serious fire hazard. Note-Should you require additional charcoal, you agree to purchase any kind that does NOT require lighter fluid to be added.
* PRECAUTIONS-1). The cabin is located on a private road, and entrance to any U.S. Forest property is NOT provided. Riding any type off-road vehicle within the neighborhood is strictly prohibited. 2). The cabin is located in a wooded area in the mountains. Open doors invite insects and other critters to come inside. Be aware that the surrounding wooded areas are home for wildlife, such as bears, coyotes, deer, raccoons, foxes, bees, snakes, turkeys, squirrels, etc. Do NOT leave food outside the cabin; place all garbage into the garbage cans located outside the garage door on the lower level; failure to adhere to this invites animals to feed themselves.
* SAFETY: 1). A first aid kit is located in the bathrooms on the main level and the loft. 2) Should the electricity go out, there is a large flashlight located under the kitchen sink. 3) A fire extinguisher is located under the kitchen sink.
* EMERGENCY INFORMATION: 1) For any emergency, dial 911 on your phone. 2) Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital and Emergency Room is located at 3990 East U.S. Highway 64 Alternate, Murphy. The phone number is 828-837-8166. Urgent Care is provided by Erlanger Urgent Care, 183 Ledford Street, Murphy, and the phone number is 828-837-4712.
* Smoking (legal/illegal) cigarettes and/or cigars, excessive drinking and use of illegal drugs are strictly prohibited inside the property or on the premises. Smoking legal cigarettes/cigars is permitted outdoors only. NOTE-if smoking inside the property occurs, extra cleaning procedures must be taken by the cleaning crew, and you will be assessed these extra cleaning costs by the cleaning crew.
* Maximum daytime occupancy is 12 only (maximum 6 overnight). There will NOT be any parties/gatherings of more than a dozen people on the premises at any time during your stay.
* Quiet time shall be 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. each day. Please be considerate of the neighbors; this is a quiet neighborhood, so loud music after 10:00 p.m. is strictly prohibited and the police will be called. If the police arrive and anyone is arrested, your parties stay will be terminated and all persons will be escorted off the property without a refund for any unused time.
* The following items are provided-bed linens, towels, washcloths, blankets , dishcloths, 2 rolls paper towels for the kitchen and 1 roll septic tank agreeable toilet paper per guest, napkins, coffee maker filters, kitchen spices (salt & pepper, etc.), sugar, 1 bottled water per person, cooking oil, and 3 dishwasher tablets. See above note under BBQ grill (1 bag BBQ charcoal shall be supplied Memorial Day through Labor Day.)
* ITEMS NOT PROVIDED -Because people have different preferences and allergies, guests must supply their own personal items, such as soap, toothpaste, hair shampoo and conditioner, body lotion, food, bottled drinking water, sodas, teas, coffee, clothes washing detergent & softener, and any other personal hygiene products.
