Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Clean, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Perfect location on the edge of Velden with stunning views of the lake. Outstanding breakfast buffet with everything you could want and more. We appreciated the free bike hire for a tour round the lake, and the gym which was small but well equipped.

Negative: Smoking is allowed on the terrace where we ate breakfast. No smoking areas are not a thing in Austria (the fault of the government, not the hotel).

Summary: Beautiful, laid-back stay - beach club vibes but without the ego!
