Summary: The owners bought the property in 2018. They live on-site and have created a wonderful oasis for visitors to Old Orchard Beach. The property is about 1/4 mile from the train depot, but you have to walk north a few "blocks" in order to cross the tracks before turning south. The hotel is not beachfront but just across the main street from the beach. The heated pool was clean and relaxing. It is next to a propane grilling area with picnic tables and a microwave for the guests. Foot rinsing stations are near the entrance to help keep the sand out of the exterior walk and rooms, but the room floors are linoleum? with a broom in each room making removing the errant sand easy. TV was Roku based and the room book stated only over-air channels were available, but I think we were getting the basic Roku offering. Not sure as I'm not familiar with Roku. I did have to rescan the system to get it to work at one point, but the channels were adequate for the minimal time I was watching. Our room had a large "dorm" fridge and a basic single cup coffee maker that used the single use coffee packs which were well stocked. Office hours were 8am to 9pm and I'm certain they would be happy to restock anything you needed within those hours. For one of the lowest priced accomodations available when I booked, this property far exceeded my expectations.
