Ideally located in the very heart of the ancient Roman town of Pollensa, Sant Sebastia offers very comfortable and traditionally styled, yet modern, holiday accommodation within easy strolling distance of the Old Town's many amenities. There are several well renowned restaurants and cafés right on the doorstep whilst a trip to the beaches of Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente is just a bus ride from the town centre. Every July the town enjoys its annual fiesta, celebrating the patron saint known as La Patrona. The summer evenings and nights are filled with music and cultural activities culminating in the epic battle of the Moors versus the Christians - a joyous, noisy and very colourful re-enactment of the 14th century battle when the locals, under the leadership of Joan Mas, resisted the invasion of the Corsair fleet led by the blood thirsty pirate, Dragut.
The house itself has been beautifully converted in comfort and modern sympathetic taste, true to the local style whilst offering everything needed for a memorable holiday. The bedrooms enjoy air-conditioning whilst the lounge diner and adjacent kitchen provide relaxing and hospitable space for evenings in. The splash pool is great for cooling off and the poolside terrace offers a romantic setting for candlelit dinners.
The streets around the villa are charming but narrow and parking nearby can be difficult so transfers and taxis are recommended from and to the airport. Hire car services can be found in town for days when you want to wander further afield and there are public car parks on the outskirts. There is also a bus terminus in the town with regular buses to Puerto Pollensa, Cala San Vicente, Alcudia and Palma. All bedroom and bathroom linen is included. Bath towels are also provided.
