Between the coconut trees, on a white sand beach touching the Caribbean Sea, stands the Sandy Bay Oceanfront Beach House.
This unit, on the bottom floor of the Beach House, sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms, with one bathroom and a large and open living area that includes a fully equipped and stocked kitchen. And, of course, walk-out access to the sea and beach!
The top floor of the Beach House can be rented separately, or together with the downstairs to sleep a total of 8 guests.
Renting both is perfect for a group vacation. Spend time together AND find privacy at the end of the day. The two units are completely separate—they do not share doors or stairs. In fact, their only shared space is the gorgeous oceanfront gazebo on the beach, with plenty of room for everyone to take a seat and enjoy one of the world's best over-the-water sunsets.
The house and Gazebo is protected by a 24 hour security system by Bulldog Security, providing response to the alarm system and regular patrols.

This seafront property in Sandy Bay—between Coxen Hole and West End.
We are located on the east side of Sandy Bay. West End is less than 10 minutes away towards the west. The airport is about 10-15 minutes away. Lawson Rock is located on the east side with a cafe and Restaurant. Anthony's Key Resort is least than 1 mile to the west with Dolphin Encounters, Restaurant and a medical facility. The location was once part of my great-grandfather's farm. I spent a sunny, wonderful childhood here along the shore, gathering mangoes, avocadoes, and cashew seeds from the trees and swimming to Spooky Channel Reef, a famous diving and snorkeling spot.
And as our guests, you can do the same today!
Walk out onto the property and pluck a juicy mango (when in season) from the cluster of fruit trees. Then put on your snorkeling gear and head into the water to explore Spooky Channel Reef. After a short walk/wade through some sea grass, you'll find crystal clear water and a spectacular reef ecosystem populated with large parrotfish, grouper, crabs and other bright aquatic life.
West Bay tourists often pay good money to be boated here for dive tours—but you have all its beauty right in your backyard!
This property means a lot to me. It was passed down from generation to generation, and much of the land still belongs to our family. The Roatan Beach House is my retirement dream home.
But in the meantime, if you are looking to be away from the hustle of the touristy areas and would love to experience living near the locals and learning about their history, you will enjoy living here.
