Situated high above the Spring Estate, Rojost Retreat is an Architect designed luxury villa with every room benefiting from a stunning view over the ocean to the islands of Baliceaux and Battowia.
Designed to maximize the experience of outdoor living Rojost Retreat features more than 40 foot of hardwood bi-fold doors that open out onto the deck, and the ocean views, and gives the impression of an additional outdoor living area.
A 40 foot coral tiled deck leads to an infinity edge pool lined with natural pebbles, adjacent to this is a gazebo with a sunken living area and an outside fridge to keep the water, sodas, beer and wine chilled. There is a solid wood dining table with eight chairs on the deck plus sun loungers and two comfortable arm chairs.
This luxury Bequia villa features the Main house, a 42 foot by 28 foot room with a 30 foot high white wooden ceiling featuring aerodynamic fans that reduce the noise but maximize the air flow. A hand built kitchen features built in Zanussi ovens, a Zanussi induction hob, Siemens dishwasher and large separate Samsung Fridge and Freezers. There are numerous cupboards and drawers containing Denby pottery and Robert Welch cutlery. In addition there is a Magimix Food Processor, a Panasonic Bread Maker (yeast and flour available in the local supermarkets), a Nespresso coffee maker (you will need to bring your own supply of capsules), plus many other small appliances. A granite breakfast bar and bar stools complement the kitchen. A welcome pack is provided containing Tea, Coffee, bottled Water, Milk, Bread, Eggs, Cereal and a few cold Hairoun local beers!
Still in the main room there is a beautiful handmade glass and wood dining table seating six and a large white leather sofa with reclining headrests and, should you wish to do nothing, a 65” LG SMART TV and Yamaha sound bar. Designer pendant lights and wall lights salvaged from a Russian submarine provide the lighting in the Main House.
Leading down a connected hall from the Main House are the two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 features a queen sized hand made four poster bed with ultra quiet fan and A/c. There is an en-suite featuring a w/c and large basin and separate walk-in wardrobe with safe. A door from the en-suite leads to a beautiful outdoor pebble lined shower area. With dual aspect windows from the bedroom and hardwood bi-fold doors the view from the room is simply stunning. The windows are louvred with mosquito screens.
Bedroom 2 features two single handmade beds with can either be used with the supplied two single mattresses or the supplied Super King size mattress which will be set up for your requirements before your arrival. Again there is an en-suite featuring a large indoor walk-in shower and a large walk in wardrobe. Dual aspect windows open out to the sunken garden and the bi-fold doors again have a stunning ocean view. The windows are louvred with mosquito screens.
Hairdryers and dressing gowns are supplied in both bedrooms as are shampoo, conditioner, soaps and body lotions.
Being a secluded and quiet Bequia villa rental, Rojost Retreat is set in almost one acre of tropical gardens and echoes to the sounds of tree frogs, geckos and Caribbean birds, including the Chachalaca which has its own distinctive calling song.
Rojost Retreat is secured with a security alarm and electric gates as well as solar power night lighting and security lights.
A folder containing as essential information (instructions/manuals/phone numbers/restaurants etc) is on the property.
Please note that we have a lovely cat, Twizzy. He has an automatic feeder outside of the house and he likes his own company but will always be friendly if you encourage him. Our housekeeper will ensure his food is always topped up.
