Take the evening outside into the enchanting sloped garden where you can watch the sunset over the neighbouring fields from the comfort of the rattan sofa and make use of the charcoal barbecue in warmer months, you may be lucky to see deer grazing in the fields nearby! When the night draws to a close, ascend up the steep stairs where you will discover two homely bedrooms, both with stunning views and original flooring, the master housing a king-size bed and the second bedroom housing a double bed. In the morning, enjoy a long bathe in the bath and get ready to head out for the day into the picturesque village of Blockley which has a country pub, The Great Western Arms, a historic Norman church, Church of St Peter and St Paul, and the popular community owned shop and café which serves delicious food during the day and hosts a couple of dinner evenings too. Please note an initial supply of logs & kindling is provided for the property between October until end of March; additional log supplies can be purchased locally.

Close by is Bourton-on-the-Water, which lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is known as the Venice of the Cotswolds as the River Windrush runs through the centre. Also within reach is the spa town of Cheltenham, boasting an incredible range of shops, cinemas, theatres, restaurants and pubs, as well as being famous for its horseracing festival in March, culminating in the Gold Cup steeplechase.
