A well-equipped kitchen is on hand for preparing hearty holiday meals to keep you energised for hitting the slopes, and plenty of seating means you can all tuck in together and have a few laughs about your day on the mountain.

A covered outdoor living area here at Powder View offers a great space to chill out on those warmer days. Why not fire up the BBQ with all your favourites, or simply chill out on the couch and admire the view.

Powder View comfortably sleeps up to seven guests across its three bedrooms. The master features both a queen and a single bed, while the other two rooms are fitted with doubles. A four-piece bathroom, with the convenience of a separate toilet, completes the setup for your stay.

Just like you, your gear will need a place to rest and stay dry when it's not on the mountain. You’ll be pleased to know there's a dedicated dry storage room available here at Powder View!

Powder View is positioned on the outskirts of Ohakune township, on the way to Raetihi, making it a great base to find tranquility when you’re not out on an adventure. It’s still only a three-minute drive from town and five minutes from The Junction though, so you’re certainly not far from the off-mountain action if that’s what you’re looking for.

The slopes of Turoa are just over 20 minutes drive away, and Whakapapa can be reached in about 45. If you’re here on a summer holiday, you’ll find some great hiking and mountain biking trails around, or why not take a day trip to the Whanganui River and enjoy a guided paddle through this pristine part of New Zealand.
