Positive: Our two-night stay in this charming trullo was nothing short of magical. Tucked away on a tranquil side street just 50 meters off one of Alberobello's main thoroughfares, the location struck the perfect balance — we were right in the historic zone, yet sheltered from the bustle of day-trippers and tour groups. The terrace was the highlight. Sipping wine in the evening with a sweeping view across a hillside dotted with the iconic conical roofs of countless trulli, we felt as though we'd stepped into a storybook. Staying in an actual trullo — rather than just walking past them — transformed the visit entirely. The thick stone walls, the cool interior, the distinctive domed ceiling overhead while you sleep: these are details no hotel can replicate. We didn't just see Alberobello; we lived inside it for two nights. And on a practical note... being able to cook a bit and di laundry gave us even more reasons to spend time in our trullo.
