In the distance, Cadillac Mountain is the highlight of Bar Harbor.
The house at the end of School Street has a wide deck overlooking the tidal pools and granite ledges. Bird watchers, kayakers, boaters, cyclists, hikers, photographers, and wanderers of all types will have a wonderful time watching the sea birds including eagles and osprey, smelling the native pine trees and wild roses, and feeling the cool of the inevitable change in weather as the tide comes in and goes out.
The ranch-style house provides sleeping for 6 (maximum 9 including sofa bed and roll away) with relaxing living and dining room areas crowned with magnificent picture windows looking out on to Henry’s Cove and beyond. The galley-type kitchen has modern appliances; the living area has cable TV and a phone for local calls.
