Positive: 🚫 Unsafe & Dishonest Hostel – Avoid at All Costs! This hostel is still a construction site, but the booking app accepts reservations like everything is normal. No staff, no reception, no cleaning, and no safety. At 9 PM, several guests (including us) were locked outside with no way in. The “owner” told us to wait at the 7-Eleven next door for an hour, then sent construction workers to let us in. The front door to the hostel couldn’t be locked, the assigned room door had no knob, beds were unmade, dust and construction debris everywhere, and toilets had no toiletries. Clearly unsafe. Google reviews look suspiciously fake, all posted 2 months ago. In this state, it should NOT be open for paying guests. Why would Thailand Goverment allow a business permit to this hostel to operate at its condition? Dishonest, irresponsible, and greedy. No matter how much they improve later, I will never return!

Negative: During my stay, the hostel was under major renovation with no notice at all. The booking app still accepted reservations as if everything was normal. In reality, there were no staff, no reception, no cleaning service, and no safety. The front gate was locked, and several guests, including us, were stranded outside at 9 PM, tired and just wanting to rest. We called the number on the booking app, and I believe it was the owner who answered. Instead of helping, she told us to wait for one hour and even suggested we wait at the 7-Eleven two doors down....WHAT THE HECK! Eventually, she sent construction workers (not staff) to open the gate. The hostel had only one key card for all guests and asked which of us would be willing to hold it. Who asks that of paying customers?! Since none of us agreed, they decided to set a password, but in the end, the gate was simply left unlocked and insecure. Inside, it was even worse: Room safety: Our room door had no knob. I read a previous Google review (from a month ago) where a guest was trapped inside because the lock jammed. They missed an important meeting and had to smash the door open with a hammer. Shockingly, the door was still not fixed after all this time. Beds: Several beds were unmade and clearly not cleaned after the last guest. We had to “pick” whichever bed looked unused. Cleanliness: The whole place was basically a construction site! My eyes hurt from the paint smell, there dust everywhere, ladders, pipes, paint buckets, and scattered debris. Good thing there were no nails around! The toilet floor was dirty, and there were no toiletries provided except for towels. What makes this worse is that Google Maps showed positive reviews, which made me believe it was a real, functioning hostel. But all those reviews were posted around the same time (just two months ago) which makes them highly suspicious. Most likely fake or from friends/family to trick customers.
