MOTION Chueca is located in the heart of Chueca in Plaza Pedro Zerolo Square and a 3-minute walk from Gran Via. The hostel offers free WiFi and is 3281 feet from Gran Via Station. We offer a 24-hour reception service, common areas, such as a shared lounge, where guests can read, eat or work. Luggage storage is available for an extra charge. Positive: The hostel is very easy to find, located in Chueca, just right next to Gran Via, all the distances are walkable, you don't even need to use the metro or bus, I would say that the best of this hostel is the location, if you plan to visit Madrid and want a place just to pass the night for a reasonable price, this is the right place.

Negative: I could make a long list but I'll try to summarize the key points you must take in count at the moment of booking. - The is a deposit of 15 euros you must pay by card at the counter, they say it'll be refunded but one week after I still didn't get it back. - Towels cost 1 euro. - The breakfast is 4 euros, they advertise it as "buffet" but actually is only coffee, orange juice, cereal, and sort of bread, not good not bad, but I found they just cover the same bread and uncover it again every morning so don't expect anything to be fresh. - The common area isn't bad but lot of people usually there, the place most of time is dirty and it seems the staff cleans up only once a day, you can imagine. - The dorms are decent, nothing fancy, the lockers in the rooms are old and many of them in terrible conditions, they provide clean bed sheets and a blanket (I saw the cleaning lady just folding the blankets and placing them again in a new bed, don't use them X). - The most annoying part could be the people you'll find in the dorms, the great majority are people from morocco who are all the time extremely loud, and even making a lot of noise in the middle of the night doing phone calls or praying (I think is important to mention it cuz they represents a significant part of the male guests). - The hostel manager is very kind and helpful, she always try to find a solution for your inquires, but some of the staff at the front desk can be extremely rude.
