7 Bedroom House in Mayfield

'Merrieweathers' consists of three separate buildings: The Stables, The Hayloft and The Games barn with a bar. All within metres of each other on a picturesque 50 acre country estate on the East Sussex/Kent border. The Stables has 4 ensuite bedrooms and the Hayloft has 2 ensuite bedrooms + an open plan mezzanine with twin and double (bedroom 7). The games barn is accessed through a delightful walled kitchen garden and includes pool table, table football, darts, bar billiards and a bar with optics and pumps. Outdoor facilities include tennis court, lawn for ball games, table tennis and outdoor kitchen, use of the estates heated outdoor pool (May-Sept 9 am-6 pm).Arrival 4 pm Dept. 10 am Extra hours are £50 per hour subject to availability. 1.5 miles from the medieval village of Mayfield.

Summary: 16 of us stayed at the property for the weekend to celebrate a joint 70th birthday. The property and location were perfect for all ages and enough space to ensure that we never got on top of each other. Theresa was an attentive host and able to respond to any requests speedily which made the whole stay more enjoyable. The accommodation and rooms are spacious and plentiful; very clean and welcoming. It’s nice to have lots of little different spaces where you can go and relax. The main highlight is the games barn/pub which really adds to the experience and gave us a great place to hang out and enjoy ourselves.
