Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Fred was a really welcoming and knowledgeable host. He went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay, and we really enjoyed the breakfasts in the morning. The location of the property is incredible right on the water.

Negative: The rate is way too expensive for the value offered. For the same rate on Rodrigues, most places offer the basics like a tea kettle or microwave, soap, etc. The property is also more in the wilderness, so bugs are naturally to be expected, but our room was invaded with giant ants that come out at night, wasps, and beetles. I ended up with a nasty sting/blister on my back from a beetle that was in our bed.
