Many mountain biking and hiking routes, klimbing horse riding, golfing opportunities and caves to explore in e. G. Postojna. Nice stop for motorcyclists.

Castle Miramare, Postojna caves, Skocjan caves, Lipica about 25min by car. Day trips to Venice (2 hrs by car), Trieste (30min by car), Piran, Gorizia, Ljubljana or others are easily feasible.
