Positive: This is a little bit of paradise. You can tell there was a lot of thought that went into this charming hotel. It's small but doesn't feel small. We were in the king room on the beach and the views were magnificent. When we were not out and about, or on the beach, we were on our porch, reading, sipping drinks or eating breakfast. The staff was amazing. Elvis, the bartender, learned our names on day one and was so attentive and friendly. He would deliver drinks to our porch. The cooking staff also delivered our breakfasts to our porch and the breakfasts were delicious. The location was great and we could walk to about 5 different restaurants. The people at the front desk arranged our transportation and our excursions. We are already planning our return trip.

Negative: The lighting in our room and bath could use improvement. However, we were hardly in there, so it didn't matter much. The only negative thing was the sargassum that came in. It was there most of the trip and didn't allow us to fully enjoy the water. We realize this is not the hotel's fault but it is a concern.

Summary: Great hotel, delicious food, amazing staff, beautiful location = Paradise!
