Positive: Easy to find - parking good - English spoken at reception for check in and out. Very clean and modern. Well presented public areas and bedroom. Lift available.
Negative: We were on time for our 8pm dinner booking and aware that dinner finished at 8.30. We did not expect to be rushed - the second course arrived before we had time to get our first course from the salad table. The main course then arrived with no break at all. Dessert was not available because “the chef has gone home”. Totally unacceptable. In fact, this was awful as we had booked half-board so had already paid for the food. At breakfast we were totally ignored by the staff - no offer of coffee, no check to see if we had everything we needed. Our experience in the dining room destroyed what could have been a pleasant night stop.
Summary: A potentially good hotel with abysmal dining room service.
