You enter the living room with a colonial design through the garden. You can sit together comfortably on the sofas and armchairs by the television. Adjacent to that is a spacious dining table that seats four. The two bedrooms on the second floor are playfully connected by a mezzanine that offers a wonderfully spacious feeling in the living room. The unique design and height differences create a playful layout and an accommodation that is anything but ordinary. The kitchen has all the basics needed to enjoy cooking and dining in. With a stove, microwave, oven, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, Senseo coffee machine, filter coffee machine, and kettle, you can serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in no time.
The bathroom is next to the kitchen and has a shower stall, sink, mirror, and storage space. There is a separate toilet next to the bathroom. The stairs in the living room lead to the second floor, where two spacious bedrooms under the sloping roof are connected by a mezzanine. Both bedrooms are identical and equipped with a double bed (160 x 200 cm), two tables with bedside lamps, bedside tables, and a rod to hang clothes. The only choice remaining is which side of the house to sleep on.
The private garden is adjacent to the living room, and the terrace (17.5 m2) is equipped with a table, chairs, and a parasol. You have a choice between shade and sun here all day. Both the living room and the garden overlook the beautiful, nostalgic mill of Westkapelle.
The house has a washing machine in the living room, next to the kitchen. No facilities are available for children up to two years old, as this accommodation is not well-suited to young children due to the open staircase and landing without fall protection. One four-legged friend can join you during your holiday. Parking is free throughout Westkapelle.
Westkapelle can be recognized from afar by the two lighthouses on the Westkappelse Zeedijk. When you can see the lighthouses, you’re nearly there. You can climb the lighthouses for phenomenal views of the North Sea, the beach, and Walcheren. In clear weather, you can even see the coastline of Zeelandic Flanders! Located at the tip of the island of Walcheren, Westkapelle is surrounded by the beach and the sea. While beaches in most coastal towns are not accessible by car and require a short walk, in Westkapelle, you can park right on the beach at the “autostrand” (the car beach). Walk along the beautiful dunes and discover the many bunkers and even an old tank. The Westkappelse Zeedijk has protected this coastal town for centuries and was used by the Nazis during World War II. If you feel like being active, this is also a great place for surfing—Westkapelle has the biggest waves in Zeeland. Experience with surfing is recommended, but there are plenty of excellent places in Zeeland for less experienced surfers to gain experience. After a lovely day at the beach, you can visit the center of this versatile town for your daily shopping, lively restaurants, and small boutiques.

- Check-in is possible from 4 pm. On your departure day you leave the house at 9.30 am, after which you return the key at the location where you collected it.
- Children's beds that may be present do not have bed linen. You bring this yourself.
- In almost all cases bed linen and towels are provided. You will see whether this is the case in your booking.
- Overnight visitors must register in advance and only when approved are these visitors allowed to stay overnight. Of course against payment of bed linen and tourist tax.
