Your adventure begins just steps away from downtown Meaford and only minutes from the stunning Georgian Bay. Enjoy easy access to the renowned Georgian Trail cycling route and the scenic Trout Hollow Trail, not to mention local shops, restaurants, and beaches. If you're seeking winter thrills, you're only a 25-minute drive from Blue Mountain.

The "Hike" unit awaits you on the second floor, featuring a spacious open-concept kitchen and living/dining area with ample natural light streaming through large windows. Feel at home while crafting gourmet meals in the fully stocked kitchen, which comes with essential staples like tea, coffee, condiments, and food wraps. Gather around the beautifully refinished dining table for family dinners or game nights. The cozy living room offers the perfect spot to unwind with a Netflix show or a good book after a long day of exploration.

This recently renovated suite boasts fresh decor and comfort throughout. Ascend a couple of stairs to find two serene bedrooms furnished with queen-sized Endy mattresses for restful nights. Each room includes a dresser and small closet for your belongings. The full bathroom showcases an original brick wall next to the washer and dryer for added convenience.

At Hills, grab a morning coffee and connect with fellow travelers as well as locals to plan your next adventure in the beautiful Georgian Bay area. Our on-site shop also provides essential bike repairs and rentals for those eager to explore the scenic surroundings.

While staying at Hills, you'll have countless opportunities to discover all that the Georgian Bay region has to offer. Plans are underway to introduce hourly rentals for electric bikes, pedal bikes, paddleboards, and e-scooters. The Meaford area is a four-season haven perfect for biking, hiking, boating, or even skiing at nearby Blue Mountain. After your adventures, savor a stroll downtown to dine at one of our favorite restaurants or take in the sunset by the waterfront before retreating to your comfortable suite.

Located directly across from Bighead River, you can enjoy picturesque walks as you spot locals fishing along the riverbanks or docks. In the spirit of supporting the community, we proudly showcase local artists from the neighboring Craig Gallery throughout the apartment. Plus, our cleaning supplies come from The Keep Refillery, offering all-natural and plastic-free products that work effectively.

You will have exclusive use of the entire apartment, including two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a functional kitchen, dining, and living space. Laundry facilities are also available for your convenience. Please note that the stairwell is shared with other guests on the second and third floors but remains accessible solely to you and them.

Your stay will be managed by our cohost Kylie, who is always just a message or phone call away when you need assistance. Although she may not be present in person due to her travels around Southern Ontario, you can count on friendly support during your visit. While the store may have limited hours, someone may be available to help you.

Meaford is filled with vibrant experiences such as live theatre, concerts, fresh local cuisine, and diverse recreational activities. You’ll find quaint shops and delightful eateries that enhance the area's charm. Just beyond the downtown area lies acres of rolling countryside, historic villages, secluded beaches, and untouched nature.

The views in Meaford are breathtaking, and the welcoming atmosphere makes it hard to leave. Most amenities are conveniently located within walking distance, and the local grocery store is just a five-minute drive away. Thornbury is a mere ten-minute drive, while Blue Mountain is twenty minutes away by car.

Free parking is plentiful in Meaford, with options available on the street or in municipal lots. A public lot is located directly across the street, with additional lots just a block away. During winter months from November 15 to April 1, parking regulations at Market Square allow overnight parking from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. An odd/even system is implemented for snow removal, so please check the posted signs to avoid any parking tickets.

Your apartment will be well-equipped with linens—including sheets, pillows, duvets, towels, and extra blankets—although beach towels are not provided. The suite features baseboard heating for warmth and a wall AC unit for cooling during warmer months.

Our commitment to a pleasant stay extends to safety measures; a Minut sensor monitors noise (without recording sound), occupancy, temperature, and humidity to ensure the comfort of both guests and neighbors alike. Remember, maximum occupancy is four guests, and no parties or events are allowed.

For the comfort of all, we kindly ask you to remove shoes at the entrance of the unit and lock the door when leaving. Quiet hours are enforced from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. according to city bylaws. Additionally, pets must never be left unattended unless crated, and we respectfully request smoking occurs away from our entryways to maintain a smoke-free environment.
