We love living here for the peace and quiet. With dirt roads and off-grid homes, this is true San Diego countryside! We are about two miles away from Barona Casino, which has a great food court with plenty of international options and an excellent buffet. About four miles away is El Capitan hiking trail, which is known to be one of the toughest hikes in all of San Diego county. If you decide to hike this trail, be sure to read about trail safety, because it is very strenuous.
There ia a reasonably-priced gas and a mini mart at Barona Casino. We are about 30 miles away from downtown San Diego and about 32 miles away from La Jolla, which is the nearest beach. The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is about 20 miles away. We are 10 miles away from the quaint town of Ramona, CA which has wineries and outdoor opportunities. If you'd like to try horseback riding, there are many opportunities for lessons nearby off Willow Rd in Lakeside.
We live next to several farms, so there are goats, horses, sheep, roosters, and cows nearby in the neighborhood.
When you arrive, please park in SPACE 2 - Ceci Suite. The suite is located downstairs through the gate.
