The Hideaway features 2 Suite Tea glamping suites named Honey & Lemon.
The Lemon Suite provides a boho styled sanctuary w/ 2 full beds and a communal outdoor lounge area that sits around a large fire pit making times with friends & family fun!
To access The Hideaway, guests are required to hike up to their glampsite. Hikes usually take about 5-7 minutes, but it's worth it!

For a truly unique getaway, you can’t go past this truly stunning country space. At the ranch you can relax and unwind surrounded by nature and wildlife without having to compromise on luxury, style or comfort.
Located on the ranch in a more secluded area called the hideaway, The glamorous Lemon Suite features two luxuriously soft full size beds both topped with super soft bedding and plush textured pillows where you can lay back and enjoy the quiet surrounds of the countryside or head out on one of the many adventures that await you.
On a cool night make your way to the warm, inviting fire pit while you catch up with old friends or even make some new ones as you roast marshmallows and share stories.
Each tent is equipped with its own privacy tent with a camping toilet.
There is a small generator within the tent which can be used to charge your devices and add additional lighting to your suite after the sun sets.
To make your glamping experience even more special, Suite Tea offers a range of activities that you can book before your stay with the onsite concierge team. When available, try unique styles of yoga, yoni steams, sunset wine tastings, a delicious boho picnic spread, a professional photography session, or enjoy holistic massage and nature hikes.
What's more, guests can also order food using top rated food delivery services like DoorDash, enjoy playing outdoor games like cornhole and giant jenga (provided upon request), making smores, story time around the fire pit, and meaningful self guided yoga and mediation. Activities that require payment are booked a la carte and need to be reserved prior to your arrival.
The ranch also offers horseback trail rides on their safe and well trained steeds as well as horse riding lessons for those that want to hone their skills or are just starting out. If riding seems too daunting, you can simply help out and feed the horses or just give them a rub between the ears.

Guests have private access to the entire glamping tent, an outside lounge area and fire pit, your own privacy tent with a camping toilet, and free parking.

The Ranch offers not only peace, quiet and the beautiful countryside, but also the convenience of being located only 16 minutes from the city and all its great shopping, restaurants, entertainment and museums.
Downtown Kansas City offers a bustling creative art scene, with a craft brewing culture and many top museums. There are plenty of beautiful parks to walk through and enjoy as well as top-rated shopping malls and markets.
Taking your own car is the best way to get to and from the city from the ranch with ample parking and the city being quite car friendly. Or you can use a rideshare company like Uber or Lyft with cars available at all times of the day and into the night.
Within the city, the streetcar is totally free to use and is the best way to get around downtown KC. It runs for two miles from the Crown Center into Midtown and then to the River Market District on the banks of the Missouri River.
If you have a bike there are over 600 miles of cycle tracks through the city that you can use. Most buses have a bike rack so you can get around quite easily.

Guests may request an early check-in or late checkout. Prior approval for requests are required along with a $25 fee that will be applied. Payment is due before check-in or check-out.
We suggest wearing walking/hiking shoes during your time outside at the ranch. There may be a short hike to your Suite, also the property at Watkins C Ranch is beautiful and you will want to explore it!
These are rain or shine reservations. We do not offer refunds based on weather conditions. To avoid cancellations, guests can always alter their reservation via the Airbnb dashboard and select a different date for arrival. Additionally, we will always do our best to assist guests in getting to and from their suites in all weather conditions. In most cases, guests may drive to their suite to unload their vehicle. If the weather is extremely wet, you may be required to walk to your suite.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose conduct degrades the experience for other guests or impedes safe operation of trail rides and/or other Suite Tea experiences.
