Positive: Hotel Gavarni exceeded our expectations. We’ll be happy to leave an honest review for those deciding whether to stay here. Overall: We spent weeks choosing a hotel, knowing that a wrong one could ruin our Paris trip. We looked for the right balance of location, price, and atmosphere - Gavarni was the right choice. Location: Centrally located, yet on a quiet side street. You hear the city without the noise, crowds, or aggressive street sellers. A short walk brings you to bakeries, cozy corners, and real French restaurants for locals. Hotel: This isn’t a modern luxury hotel - it’s vintage, full of Parisian charm. The old-style elevator, stained glass, and marble bathroom details make it feel like a step back in time. Minor wear only adds to the charm. Rooms: We stayed in the Eiffel Room under the rooftop. It’s much bigger than in the photos, with 3 balconies showing the Eiffel Tower and Paris rooftops. The morning sun and warm interior make the view unforgettable. Note: only upper floors get direct sunlight due to the narrow street and buildings. Service: Everything was clean and crisp, without the smell of harsh detergent. Linens were changed daily, tea and coffee restocked. Staff were polite, efficient, and non-intrusive - exactly what we wanted.
