Enjoy Brevard's 'Land of Waterfalls'! Our secluded cabin offers two private waterfalls, on 6 acres, fed by 4 streams, in a truly enchanting environment. For more photos, videos, and information look for us online as Brooksong Log Cabin in NC.
At Brooksong you will find a bedroom with a King bed upstairs and an adjacent bathroom, a loft with a futon (luxury mattress), a bedroom with a Queen bed downstairs and an adjacent bathroom, an open two story sitting room, separate dining and kitchen, and an open two story sun room/den. This large sun room is marked with a 20 foot stacked river rock fireplace (from our stream) that can be seen through a wall of 10 windows facing the approach to the property. The interior reflects a lodge style with custom Idaho log bed frames, antique, and hand made furnishings. Satellite TV, access to streaming services, WIFI, and separate TV for kids games is provided.
Outside there is a long covered deck with two rocking chairs, a table with 4 chairs, a lounge, and a porch swing; a hammock hangs from a mountain laurel a few steps away; a fire pit, with tree stumps to sit on, can be seen from the deck located next to one of the streams. There is also tree swing close to the second waterfall. Each stream has open areas for play and discovery. The size of these beautiful waterfalls is hard to capture in a photo. The 2nd cascading waterfall has large rocks creating several pools and falls. Our location includes well maintained gravel roads - all wheel drive or 4x4 option is recommended.
Brevard is 25-30 minutes or 17 miles, Sapphire 12 miles, and Rosman is 8 miles. Brevard has many grocery options and lots of wonderful restaurants and breweries.
Even though we have a 3 day minimum most of the year, if you see 2 days available between other bookings please contact us. Sorry, we do not offer monthly rentals.
Area attractions include our Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway, Biltmore Mansion, rafting-kayaking-fishing down the French Broad and Davidson rivers and lakes Jocassee and Toxaway. Children will enjoy our Cradle of Forestry and the Fish Hatchery!
