Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: - location, location, location- beautiful bays nearby. You can walk around to fig tree bay in 25-30 mins on the walkway they’ve created. You can access the beach bars for nearby hotels easily. Lidl also close by for shopping - plenty of parking - spacious light rooms - provide handwash, dish soap, bin bags & basics to get you started. - Provided an adapter for the microwave as could not operate it without one
Negative: - we had requested a high floor & full sea view room. Whilst all the rooms face the sea, some are over the car park so mostly see that & other buildings. Yes you can also get a sea view but it’s not the full sea view I expected. - not the best welcome: no offer to help with bags or to see you to your room for example. When I asked Gerry the manager if other rooms were available he said no very quickly saying it was all booked, then 15 mins later showed us one which would have been away from the car park. He asked us if we’d sat on the bed and used the bathroom, and we had we felt bad to ask for a room change so left it there. - linen & towels are poor quality and need to be replaced. The washing rack on the patio is very rusted and will leave marks on lighter clothes. - funny smell from the drains & in apartment
