Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Absolute gem of an apartment in a super central location! On top of the harbour and the bus stops so really easy getting around Fife if you won’t want to drive. The apartment itself is greatly stocked and has everything you could think of. Super clean and Daryl was responsive and helpful when we had a few queries (& especially helpful when we locked ourselves out!!). We also walked to Cellardkye most days for the tidal pool and the location in town is perfect as you are fairly close to everything from there. The bath was a real treat, super full and spacious!
Negative: One notable thing to bear in mind if you are noise sensitive is that noise does travel quite a lot. We had a family next to us who weren’t particularly loud but we could hear all of their conversations at night and in the morning which kept us up/ woke us up. Not the biggest issues but a couple things that would make for a more comfortable stay; the bathroom light has a loud buzzing noise when turned on which makes having a relaxing bath a less enjoyable experience. The bed is comfy but quite small for a couple and a king size would fit comfortably in the room (more of a personal preference maybe as we are used to a bigger bed at home!). The cooker also makes a weird, loud clicking noise when turned on so we just turned it on to spark and had it off when cooking on the hob (gas). The layout of the living room is a bit random with the main sofa against the wall that the telly is also on, so makes for awkward sitting - maybe the layout could be reviewed to make it more comfortable.
