Summary: The location of this hotel is perfect, within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station and all of the major attractions! The room had beautiful windows overlooking the street below. You can hear some of the noise below throughout the night, but nothing that we minded. There is no check-in desk at this hotel, but it is affiliated with the hotel across the street and the staff there was very helpful and allowed us to store our bags since we arrived before check-in. Note that there is no elevator in this building and the spiral staircase is very narrow and winding. The shower head is located on the wall in the bathroom — there is no stall or curtain around the shower head. So when you shower, the toilet and everything in the bathroom will be wet. The staff cleaned while we were out each day, so we always came back to a dry bathroom. Some water leaked under the door as well, and we were only given 2 bath towels, so we got a third towel each day to keep water from running out into the bedroom. Overall this was a good stay and we had a beautiful few days in Amsterdam and Holland!
