Foxglove holiday cottage is a delightful and cosy stone built mid-terrace property located in the lovely village of Worsthorne, near Burnley in Lancashire. Foxglove cottage dates from the mid 1700s and is a fine example of the stone built workers dwellings of the time.
The cottage has a comfortable living room, with a 3 seater sofa, armchair and dining table for four. The kitchen is spacious with everything that is needed for a short break and upstairs you will find a large master bedroom with a king size bed and a further smaller room with adult bunk beds. We love the bathroom, which has a traditional suite and fixtures, and a super shower above the bath.

The cottage is ideally located for attending Simply Fields Weddings and Events which is a five minute walk up the road.
The great northern cities of Manchester and Leeds are also an hour away by rail or road and the seaside resort of Blackpool is only an hours drive.
On your doorstep there are some great local walks including routes taking in parts of the Pennine Way and Pennine bridlepath along with Pendle Hill, Widdop and the Yorkshire Dales, which all provide the backdrop to some outstanding countryside views.
After a day walking, mountain biking or exploring, the pubs are only yards away and the town centre of Burnley is only a10 minute drive and offers a further array of restaurants, pubs and all major supermarkets.
