2 Bedroom Cottage in Arnol, Borve
Housed in a former mission hall, Snowberry Cottage has been recently renovated (2023) to provide charming self catering accommodation for up to four people.
With plenty of parking on site, there is enough parking for two cars.
There are two bedrooms - one a kingsize double, the other with two singles - there is plenty of space for four people. Please note the house is not suitable for children under the age of 6.
Due to Scottish licence legislation, no more than four people can be accommodated in the property at any one time.
The property is on a good bus route (W1), just 20 minutes drive from the main town of Stornoway.
The village of Borve has a hotel with restaurant and pub (booking essential), a small convenience store, a doctors surgery, a lovely rocky shoreline just a short walk away, and a pottery and gift shop - so whilst the property is secluded and cosy, it is within walking distance of some fabulous amenities.
Please note the amenities are always closed on a Sunday, and there is no public transport on a Sunday.
A short drive to many of the historic sites, the island is also renowned for its wildlife.
Being on the Hebridean Way, on the way to the Port of Ness, the cottage is ideally situated for a break for anyone attempting the Hebridean Way. Situated in an area with very little light pollution, it is also a fantastic place from which to spot the Northern Lights when they appear.
