An original farmhouse that was built in 1880, nestled on 15 acres in the beautiful Stecoah Valley in Robbinsville, NC. The house has a large front porch, a screened back porch, a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms and two full baths. Additionally, there is a small sitting room with a futon and bookshelf and a small bar room off of the kitchen. It has been updated with central air conditioning, a furnace and baseboard heaters downstairs. The kitchen has a gas stove top and oven and microwave oven, there is no dishwasher. The two upstairs bedrooms have AC/heat split systems, which heat and cool very nicely. Both bathrooms are on the 1st floor, so guests staying upstairs will have to use stairs to use the bathroom. There is plenty of parking for all types of vehicles, including motorcycles, trailers and recreational vehicles. At the back end of the property is the beautiful and serene Stecoah Creek which is stocked with trout several times a year and you may fish in the creek.
There are A LOT of imperfections as it is 140 years old, but it is very cozy and comfortable. We do currently have Starlink for internet and use for t.v. streaming which has been by far the best working options. If having t.v. or internet at all times is a necessity, please do not book this property, a refund will not be provided if they are not working at all times. We try to have everything in working order and when things do malfunction, we will try our hardest to get them repaired a.s.a.p but in the country, there is no guarantee of when repairs can be made.
There is a small studio apartment on the property, not attached to the farmhouse which is a separate rental, so there may be other guests on the property at the same time, but no indoor spaces are shared.
