Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Amazing location and lovely accommodation. Big, comfy bed and hot tub were great for recovering after busy days. We came in the summer but would be really nice in Autumn/Winter with the log burner too. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Pub next door served delicious food and they also had a sandwich shop. Overall, it was excellent value and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Negative: The only thing that we thought was missing was scissors in the kitchen. We also noticed that the guests in the lower floor of the cottage had a specific parking space in the car park but there wasn't one for us. This would have been useful as a couple of times the car park was full and we had to park in the motor home section. The balcony/hot tub area does feel quite exposed due to it being on the upper floor despite the wooden panels around the hot tub itself. The glass panels on the balcony mean there is a lovely view but also that people can see you.
