Positive: Love the quiet location perfect for us. Only one bar apptly named bar plan b as the owners are very unfriendy and need to read their own reviews. Entrance to the village a bit hit and miss in the dark as the entrance road is unfinished and un lit Would highly recommend hiring a car from the airport as it's on the wild side of the island but only a ten minute ride to the other side with easy access to some of the finest stretch of sand covered coastline you are ever likely to find from Costa calma, sotavento, morro jable, butihondo, esquinso, and our favourite mal nombre tucked away behind a deserted hotel with a great little beach bar serving good food.all in all we had a lovely chilled out 2 weeks

Negative: The sunsets in la pared are awesome. people come for miles to surf and watch the surfers before sunset
