This cabin is so close to the river that you could throw a line in off the porch! Enjoy breathtaking views from the porch or the hammock right next to water. In the evenings light up a fire and make some s'mores (firewood provided). This cozy get away is perfect as a romantic getaway or small family vacation. The water here is perfect for wading out and fishing or letting little ones play.
Stay a week and explore the New River Valley - you're only 12 minutes to access on the 55 mile scenic New River Trail (biking and hiking trail), 12 minutes to the Draper Village (restaurant, tea room, eclectic shopping, bike rentals, massage therapy, agritourism), 15 minutes to Foster Falls State Park (horseback riding, kayak/canoe access) and 25 minutes to Claytor Lake State Park (beach area, motorized boat rentals, hiking trails).
