Summary: Air conditioners in comfort standard rooms have not aged well and should have been replaced long ago as they have a high pitch noise. We have not had this problem in 3 other hotels in Malta. Tried 2 different rooms, both had the pitch but one was quieter. Apart from this the rooms were nice. Some staff were welcoming, polite and helpful (about 75% of them), others were unfortunately not. The elevator takes max 4 persons. It is the only elevator for the hotel and is shared between guests and staff so be prepared to wait several times for it to pass or use the stairs. I would suggest to consider installing a mini elevator for sending e.g. trays and dishes between the restaurant and the pool bar. The breakfast was OK. Skip the tsatsiki snack dish since it is without garlic. The pool on the roof with the live DJ was the highlight. The DJ on Friday was fantastic! The DJ on Saturday did not fit our taste as it was only ambient dubstep but still nice to have a live DJ.
